Fence Panel Info
Guaranteed for 5 years and made to order, our tanalised fence panels are made from heavier timber than most, giving them extra strength and durability in all weathers, especially in strong winds. All are supplied with capping; post caps are available.
If desired, panels can be supplied with a trellis top. The standard trellis top is made with 7" x 3.5" (18cm x 9cm) rectangles; however they can also be made with small or large squares or diamonds; please contact us for a price.
Our panels are made from square sawn 6mm thick board and each is put together with nails, rather than staples; again helping to ensure longevity.
Please state on your order if you would like your panels to be made to go into the ground or into a concrete posts.
For a panel less than 4’ high, we recommend a post that is 3” x 3” or x 4” x 3”. A 5ft or 6ft high panel require a 4” x 4” post, especially if it is a windy site.
The length of the post depends on how windy the site is and what type of ground the posts are going in; however as a general rule, each post should set into the ground by at least 2ft. |
